FAEDA is a leader agency in the worldwide tanning industry and boasts collaborations with the most important fashion brands. In 2017 FAEDA relied on 3ndyStudio team in order to realize a new innovative headquarter respecting the sustainability policies. The project provided the realization of a new building starting from some structural elements of the already existing productive part, creating an innovative surface intended to hold the executive and administrative offices of the enterprise. The independent volume promoted a better sound insulation and a cozier place for the employees. To facilitate the panoramic view effect and visual depth, the designers decided to create all the interior and exterior walls with glass.

With the aim to protect the large windows it has been created an original shading system with custom metal brise soleil panels realized by Steel Group. The aluminum slats of the coating covers the building and protect it from the sunlight while maintaining the visual permeability of the surrounding environment. The design of the sunscreen walls, created by MetroQ engineering, takes inspiration and reproduces the leather fringes crafted by FAEDA. In the majestic entrance hall there’s a great visual impact stair, this one also custom projected, with the function of linking the different levels of the building.

THE RESULT

Games of reflection, refraction and design combine the transparency of the glass with the opacity of the metal creating a redefinition of spaces and elements where the location is still the undisputed protagonist
