When the project to being done involves large windows, the main requirement becomes to obtain high standards of robustness without losing aesthetics. From here 4F1 is born, the facade door frame with steel posts of only 50 mm, which guarantees high static values while maintaining the lightness and transparency of the set. Its performance has been tested by the best European certification laboratories according to EN 13830.

System and performance
4F1 is a system for continuous thermal cutting edges, uprights and transversals with structural sections of depth from 50 to 180 mm and width 50 mm. The high elastic modulus of the metal guarantees a solid structure, but at the same time lightweight and versatile. A multi-layer sealing system in EPDM made of gutter channels for the flow of any infiltration, ensures excellent water and air tightness. The glass, which can have a thickness of up to 56 mm, is placed in the frontal position, held on special supports and fixed to the uprights and crosspieces by a pre-pressed steel gasket perforated for application with screws
Visual space and variants
The upright/cross 4F1 can have a depth of 50, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180 mm. The visual size of the inner profiles and outer covers is 50 mm; the depth of the cover in the uprights is 16 mm and in the trays of 13 mm.

Upright and crosspiece materials
Uprights and crosspieces can be made in:
- zinc plated steel and powder coated with a wide range of colors and finishes;
- AISI 304 stainless steel with satin finish, AISI 316L stainless steel with glossy finish or brushed scotch;
- steel corten.
Covering materials
The coverings of 4F1 are available in:
- zinc plated steel and powder coated with a wide range of colors and finishes;
- AISI 304 stainless steel with satin finish, AISI 316L stainless steel with glossy finish or brushed scotch;
- steel corten;
- brass (copper alloy 0T67).
Application possibilities
4F1 is equipped with stainless steel retractable bases for the head junction of the uprights with crossbars, in different combinations.
