Subida di Monte: Tradition and Innovation in the Heart of the Collio

Founded in 1967 in Cormons, in the heart of the Collio, Subida di Monte winery comes to life totally renewed thanks to the vision of the agricultural company Agrotech and the innovative approach of AK Plus. The architecture, that puts together tradition and modernity, integrates seamlessly into the surrounding landscape of hills and vineyards, enhancing its natural beauty through the use of warm materials such as wood, stone, terracotta, and corten steel. The large windows and terraces offer breathtaking views, creating spaces where the boundaries between indoor and outdoor blend, flooding the environments with natural light. The Locanda alle Vigne, with its central fireplace and custom details, welcomes visitors into a warm and refined atmosphere, celebrating the authenticity and simplicity of a territory that, while living in the present, preserves its local traditions.

A Play of Light and Steel that Welcomes with Warmth and Elegance The Project: A Play of Light and Steel that Welcomes with Warmth and Elegance Steel Group produced a series of windows for the Agrotech construction site using "Secco Sistemi" profiles in corten steel. Among the works completed there’s the entrance door to the restaurant, pivoted and equipped with a custom-made handle. The windows in the restaurant area, the winery entrance, and the vinegar cellar are elegantly integrated into a corten wood paneling that covers the lower part of the facade.
The majestic window in the restaurant, made with extra-clear structural glass and installed in a single perimeter frame, creates a continuous opening of 7 meters by 7 meters, providing excellent natural light.
The winery’s large doors, also in corten steel, are clad with sheet metal and expanded metal mesh. The wine bar counter and the rear wine display cabinet are both made of coppered steel.
