The reason behind this restyling, made by architect Giorgio Palù/ Arkpabi studio, is the exaltation of the uniqueness of the preexisting. His goal is to transform a late nineteenth century residence, located in the historical site of Soncino (CR), into an elegant and functionally modern house. Through an essential style, the past features are still present and still recognizable but at the same time they are melted with a contemporary vision that gives to this ancient building a new spirit within a new appearance.

Steel Group took in charge the project of enhancing and furnishing the interiors and of ensuring a harmonious visual continuity between the indoor and outdoor spaces. This has been possible thanks to the majestic arch shaped doors and windows made of powder-coated steel, impressive burnishing brass spiral staircase and its attic in extra clear glass which connects the two floors of the villa, an entrance window paneled in patchworks made of brass and frosted glass with retractable side coat rack, design metal elements and accessories.

THE RESULT

Villa Soncino has been transformed into the essence and synthesis of a strong and refined identity, where linearity, modernity and exclusivity are unbreakable connected.
